Shah Rukh Khan spent a total of 50 days filming in Berlin with his team, shooting scenes for ‘Don 2 - The King is back’ at famous locations and attractions around the city and causing a great stir. But it wasn’t all work. While filming in the German capital, Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 45th birthday for which his wife and two children travelled especially from India. After almost two months, the film star left Berlin, but not without showing his gratitude. In Berlin’s golden guestbook he wrote: "Thank you for making us all feel as if we were at our own homes.
Love Berlin like a second home now!". In 2011 the wait had a finite end. King Khan, as he is fondly called in India, will soon be back on the screens in Don 2.
The film came to Indian cinemas on 23 December and the lead parts are not only played by Shah Rukh Khan and his colleagues. A star role also went to the city of Berlin, which was really showcased at its best. Bollywood fans were also looking forward to a guest appearance by another Bollywood great: Hrithik Roshan.
